Hello from St. Marys
The staff of St. Marys would like to say a big hello to all our students and their families. We are all getting used to this new way of life and learning and are so proud of the efforts being put in by our families to progress their children’s education. No one could have imagined this being our reality, yet people are rising to the challenges. It goes without saying that this is not easy. There can be problems with devices, internet access, printers and motivation, so we really want to relay that the staff are here for you, to help in any way. (more…)

The preliminary round of the Mini 7s took place recently in Stradbally GAA pitch. The girls performed superbly on the day reaching the final, beating Coolnasmear and Garranbane along the way. All the girls gave 100%, but unfortunately were beaten in the final by 2 points. They can be very proud of their efforts and look forward to the 15 a side competition.
The TY students of Ard Scoil and 6th Class pupils of St. Mary’s recently worked on a Religious Education Project together. The TY students visited St. Mary’s on 3 occasions and on the last day 6th Class went to the Ard Scoil where they created an art project and enjoyed tea and buns! A very worthwhile exercise.
