Last Friday heralded the long awaited return of school athletics. West Waterford A.C. held long distance races for 2nd to 6th classes. We had a great turnout on the evening and the girls enjoyed their first taste of athletics this year. (more…)
Senior Infants have been working extremely hard since their return to school at the beginning of September. They celebrated Dot Day with a story, a song, art and other related activities. They are very proud of their work displayed on the Wow Wall. They worked so hard, their teacher felt they deserved a Popcorn Party…what a treat!

We would like to welcome all our new pupils to St. Mary’s PS. We look forward to welcoming them into our school community and hope they enjoy their time here with us.
We hope our Sixth Class girls have a very enjoyable last year here with us in St. Mary’s.
They recently enjoyed a walk together in the September sunshine.
First Class have been busy since their return to school last week. They went on a sensory walk; finishing up in our beautiful Sensory Garden.

Ms. Ryan’s class harvested sunflower seeds recently. They created seed packets for their sunflower seeds which they will plant in the spring.
