Bhain na páistí agus na múinteoirí a lán taitneamh as an maidin. Is breá linn an madra, Frank, bhí sé an-gleoite.

Senior Infants have been very busy settling in to their brand new classroom. They have been learning all about themselves, their families and Autumn this month. One of their many highlights was collecting Autumn leaves to make a lovely wreath for the door of their classroom.

Junior Infants are settling in well after their first month in St. Mary’s. They have been very busy with soccer coaching, Ready Set Go Maths activities and pre writing exercises. Keep up the good work!

Garda Lee came to visit the children in First Class last week. They really enjoyed learning about the role of the Gardaí in our community and trying on some of the uniform!

Ukulele lessons are continuing each week with Colin and the girls are making great progress learning all the chords.

We were extremely lucky to have had Michael Moylan from Irish History Live with us in St. Mary’s recently. Through animated storytelling and hands on exploration of memorabilia, the children learned about the Vikings in a fun, imaginative way. A fantastic method of bringing history to life for the children, they thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Michael! (more…)
