Ms. McGrath’s 5th/6th Class and Ms. Kiely’s 6th Class went on a trip to Waterford for Maths Week. First they went for a stroll on the Greenway and then some went on to visit the The Irish Museum of Time in the city and the others went to SETU for the Maths and Magic Show. A very enjoyable day out.

5th and 6th Class used their Maths Eyes to take some pictures around the school. They then invited the Junior Infant classes to look at their pictures and asked them questions based on what they saw. A very enjoyable collaboration between the junior and senior classes. (more…)

3rd Class had a lovely, relaxing day for World Mental Health Day. They started the day with a brisk walk followed by some mindfulness colouring. They also made some loom band bracelets and finished the day with yoga led by Ms. Byrne. (more…)

A massive congratulations to our Summer Reading Stars who received their certificates and medals from Sarah, our local librarian, this week. The children availed of the fantastic services of the library over the summer and read many books. Keep up the reading and visits to the library.
