Mrs. Ryan’s junior infants made cards for Santa and showed off their beautiful handwriting skills. They wrote down all the letters of the alphabet they know for him and posted them in our very special postbox. He will be mighty impressed!!
Ms. Healy’s class came up with a novel idea for their Christmas Toy Show. Their parents texted in a photo of the boys and girls playing with their favourite toy. Ms. Healy was able to put the photo up on the whiteboard and the children got to take it in turns to speak about their favourite toy. What a fabulous idea!
Senior infants were treated to hot chocolate by their teachers after Santa and Mrs. Claus’ visit. It was very yummy with a taste of more!
On Wednesday, we had a very special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Poor old Santa had lost his voice and Mrs. Claus was taking great care of him. Santa had a message for all the boys and girls and was delighted to hear that they have been excellent in school this year. (more…)
Fourth class had a magical surprise when their elves appeared out in the playground. The girls were full of wonder as to how their elves got up on the tree. Those pesky elves can get up to such mischief at times!!
Ms. Quinn’s fourth class have been extremely busy with their Christmas art. There was a beautiful selection on show from wreaths to Santas to reindeers. What a talented bunch of girls.
The boys and girls in Mr. Curran’s and Ms. Smith’s classes have been great at learning their tables all year. They had a Christmas tables blitz this week and each pod had a winner. Well done to everyone. Keep up the good work.
