The children of St. Mary’s took part in various activities to celebrate World Book Day.

Ms. Kiely’s Junior Infants brought in their favourite books and the children from 5th class read stories for them.
Ms. Dwane’s Junior Infants were equally as lucky to have 5th class read their favourite books for them! Super reading!
The boys and girls in Ms. Harty’s Senior Infants brought in their favourite books for Show and Tell. There were lots of interesting questions asked about the books!
Ms. Healy’s Senior Infants enjoyed a trip to Eason’s to pick up their World Book Day book and enjoyed reading them in the school library afterwards. They also enjoyed a Reading Buddy session with the girls from 5th and 6th classes.
