Spooky Spells and Perfect Potions

Updated: 11th Nov 2020

Unfortunately, what should have been our annual Witches Walk around the town was not to be this year. Not to be outdone by covid 19, the staff came up with a peculiarly packed pumpkin trail. What a Fa boo lous Feel Good Friday it was!!

Not only was there an incredible selection of costumes, but the face painting and accessories really lifted our spirits. The ooohs and aaahs, along with the shrieks from the children as they travelled around the school on the trail was a sound to behold. Aswell as admiring the creative pumpkins designed by each class, there were Halloween surprises around every corner. Creatures of all descriptions were hanging from trees and hiding in bushes. The trail culminated in Storytime with Pinky the Witch and her long suffering childminder Mombie. They had the children laughing and casting spells. The children had an amazing  Storytime and got so much enjoyment out of it. The Halloween photo booth was a hit with our students and they got to take home a momento from the day. The spookily good Halloween artwork and decorations on display in all the corridors added to the spooktacular atmosphere. It will be a day to remember for a long time to come. Congratulations to Katie Kenneally, our Halloween raffle winner.
