October Activities in our ASD Class

Updated: 13th Nov 2019

Halloween was our second theme this year. We enjoyed making and decorating a Haunted House with some of our friends from Junior Infants.

Some boys and girls from First Class came over to help us with our erupting pumpkin experiments. We had so much fun doing this.

We were straight in to explore our Halloween themed sensory boxes. Lots of creepy crawlies to be found in the different boxes!

We have also been working hard at our gross and fine motor skills. We have a need for speed on our Balance Bikes!

We’re also hurdling and climbing like pros!

We worked very hard to try and take all the Pom Pins out of the whisks.

We used droppers and syringes to create some tie dye effect circles.

We picked and stuck stickers to create some lovely abstract pictures.

We listened to and sang Halloween songs and created some spooky Halloween art. Here we are painting some witches’ faces.

Our Halloween themed sensory tuff tray was a big hit! We enjoyed lots of imaginary fun in the Ghost Town!
