The school was a hive of activity last week with all things mathematical.
Maths week is a collaborative effort between Calmast STEM Outreach Hub at Waterford Institute Technology and more than 50 public and private organisations concerned with promoting mathematics across the island of Ireland.
The pupils and staff of St. Mary’s certainly played their part in promoting this concept. The children were thoroughly engaged for the week taking part in many, varied activities throughout the week-Maths Trails, Problem Solving Competitions, Maths Games, Quizzes, Maths Eyes and much more.
