Kindness and Chaos at Christmas

Updated: 10th Dec 2022

Last Friday was a fun day in St. Mary’s. To celebrate our first Festive Friday of December we held an assembly to acknowledge all the kind deeds carried out throughout the month of November. Each class nominated a pupil who was deserving of the Kindness Award.

This was tricky for teachers as there were so many children deserving of this award. Mrs. Claus paid a visit when she heard Ms. Carroll-Lawler’s class singing a song about kindness and she helped Mrs. Fitzgerald give out the awards.
After a concerning phone call from the North Pole about the Grinch’s behaviour, the pupils recited a spell to transport him to St. Mary’s. We had a chat about kindness and he promised to be a good Grinchy from now on.
