Sixth class recently held a Christmas colouring competition for each class in the school. The boys and girls really tried their best to colour neatly and to use lots of bright colours to impress the judges. (more…)
Ms. Smith’s first class boys and girls took part in a little project about who they would like to spend Christmas with. They spoke about family members, friends and pets. They then transferred their ideas onto paper through art.
Sixth class have also been busy with art this week. They made some fabulous pom pom Christmas wreaths. It took patience and a lot of effort to create such wonderful festive creations. I hear you are the pom pom queens now!!

Ms. O’ Keeffe’s second class have been getting creative with salt dough and have made some wonderful Christmas decorations. They had great fun making them and now have beautiful Christmas decorations to hang up at home. (more…)
Ms. Carroll-Lawler’s boys paid a visit to their friends in senior infants. They surprised them with gingerbread men that they had baked themselves. What a nice random act of Christmas kindness!!
Our final Festive Friday was a big hit with all our classes. The children had many fun activities throughout the day from making reindeer food to decorating gingerbread houses to movie watching to Christmas karaoke. (more…)
