This week we have been learning all about the Antarctic and penguins. We brought this learning to life in Aistear by building our own igloos, ice fishing for sounds, roleplay in an igloo and small world play of the Antarctic itself! We learned a lot and it was ‘Snow’ much fun! 

Drama continues each Thursday for pupils in classes 2nd to 6th. The pupils are thoroughly enjoying the classes facilitated by Mary Nagle. It is a wonderful opportunity for the children and will culminate with a performance by all the children in May of this year. Auditions and planning have already commenced and the excitement is building each week.
