Once again our outdoor Aistear area is proving to be invaluable. First class got to use it this week and their theme was The Dentist. The children were engaged with the many activities and benefited from lots of hands on learning. They can’t wait for their return visit.

Our two junior infant classes had great fun celebrating World Nursery Rhyme Week. Not only did they get to recite their favourite nursery rhymes, but they got to accompany them with some beautiful artwork. Everyone received a certificate to mark their hard work at the end of the week.
Junior infants have been very busy learning about patterns in maths. They even integrated one of their PE lessons with maths and made use of some of our PE equipment. They used two colours to make their patterns. Well done everyone. It was a great idea!

They will provide the children with much needed entertainment, especially given the times that we find ourselves in. Thank you once again. It was a very kind gesture.

Pupils were kind to each other in class, classes partnered up and performed a good deed for each other, some classes had a socially distanced get together in the playground, others took the virtual route and zoom-called each other.
